"Beacon Events, along with our Mobility World Congress event partners and sponsors, have been closely monitoring the unfolding situation in Thailand. While we maintain that Bangkok is currently stable enough to play host to the Mobility World Congress, we recognize that the situation could change at any moment and we feel it is prudent to act now to enable everyone to plan their visit to the Congress with confidence and security.
We have therefore made the decision to relocate the Mobility World Congress to Beijing and hold it on 24-28 November 2008, alongside our annual China Mobility International Summit."
